Lloyd was born and raised in Summerville, South Carolina. He was assigned to the Washington, DC area in 1998 while serving in the U.S. Air Force, where he fell in love with the rich history and diverse culture of the area and decided to retire there in 2013. Lloyd began attending Oak Chapel United Methodist in 2016 and currently serves as the Financial Secretary and as an Usher. He holds a BS degree in International Business and a MA in International Relations. He works for the US House of Representatives. He lives in Clarksburg and enjoys spending time with family, reading about history when he has time, and listening to audiobooks during his long commute during the week.
