Currently, I facilitate the Adult Bible Study, & serve occasionally as lay teacher for Adult Sunday School.
I served several years on the Church Food Pantry Team. I am a member of Live Oaks, the Church Senior Group, that meets monthly.
After moving from Arizona to the Washington DC area, I completed my graduate degrees at the University of Maryland while raising three children and working part-time as an Audiologist with the D.C. Veterans Administration.
Later, I held positions as Head of Audiology at the University of Maryland Hospital, Director of Hearing & Speech at the Montgomery County Health Department, and later, as Director of Audiology at Children’s National Medical Center, Washington DC. I was also Assistant Professor of Audiology at the U of MD Medical School and GWU Medical School.
Before retiring, I served as President of the Maryland Speech, Language and Hearing Association. I also served as Chair
of the first Maryland Licensure Board for Audiology.
****Greatest Achievement: 3 children, 7 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
